Samsung has presented a new version of the Samsung Galaxy S21

Samsung has covertly introduced the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G in India, which runs on the Snapdragon 888 SoC. The new smartphone arrives just days before the official launch of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 later this month. Early last year, Samsung made the Exynos 2100 SoC-powered Galaxy S21 FE 5G available in India. The appearance of the new device is like the Exynos 2100 SoC-powered variant; the chipset is the only distinction.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G Variant

The all-new Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G arrives in five colors—Navy, Olive, Lavender, White, and Graphite—and has 256GB of internal storage. It is available for Rs 49,999 in India. Samsung has deals on the product, including a 15-month no-cost EMI option with monthly payments starting at Rs 3,334. The Galaxy S21 FE 5G will be available on Samsung.com and in physical shops beginning July 11.

The Snapdragon 888 SoC-powered variant is slightly cheaper

The Exynos 2100 SoC-powered model is significantly more expensive than the Snapdragon 888 SoC-powered variant. The latter arrived with prices starting at Rs 54,999 for 128GB storage and Rs 58,999 for 256GB storage.

The inclusion of an old chipset is what caused the price decrease. Qualcomm revealed its Snapdragon 888 SoC. The forthcoming Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 will likely get powered by either the yet-to-be-announced Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 SoC from Qualcomm or the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC from Qualcomm.

Also appealing to some users may be the phone’s relatively modest display. The 6.4-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X Display on the Galaxy S21 FE 5G offers an exciting clicking experience thanks to AI-based blue light control, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. Aluminium makes up the frame, while Corning Gorilla Glass Victus shields the display.

The phone comes pre-installed with Android 13 as well. A 12-megapixel (UW), 12-megapixel wide, and 8-megapixel telephoto camera are all part of the rear camera system. A 32-megapixel selfie camera appears on the front panel. The camera app has settings like 30X Space Zoom, 3X optical zoom, Portrait Mode, Dual Recording, and Enhanced Night Mode.

It has automatic power sharing, wireless fast charging 2.0, and 25W Super-Fast charging capabilities. Wi-Fi 6 and 5G connectivity are also features of the Galaxy S21 FE 5G.
