The manufacturing lines for creating “laptop-sized OLED panels” have not yet been fully developed by Apple’s supply chain partners. According to a prior report, Apple may release a new MacBook Air model with an OLED display in the first half of 2024. It would use “tandem stack” OLED technology to increase OLED screens’ brightness and power efficiency while lengthening their lifespans.

According to an earlier report, the MacBook Air would be the first model to feature an OLED display.
