India At Asian Games 2023 : Men’s Team Wins 10m Air Pistol Gold


Adding golden colors to the forte India at Asian Games 2023 won the men’s 10m air pistol team competition in the Asian Games, Hangzhou, China, on Day 5. The gold medal went to the shooting team of Sarabjot Singh, Arjun Cheema, and Shiva Narwal from India. In other sports Roshibina Devi Naorem won a Wushu silver medal.

Anush Agarwalla of India won the bronze medal in equestrian, becoming the first Indian to receive an individual dressage event medal. The women’s squash team secured a medal by crushing Malaysia. India has so far won 25 Medals at the Asian Games, including six golds, eight silvers, and 11 bronzes, ranking seventh in the medal tally.

India At Asian Games 2023 : Another Shot At Gold Medal

Day 5 of the Asian Games for India: The athletes from the country began the day by winning a Silver and a Gold medal, bringing their total number of Medals won to 25.

Live update from Day 5: Indian shooters bag another gold

On Day 5 of the current Asian Games 2023 in Hangzhou, India won the men’s 10m air pistol team competition. The trio of Indian shooters Sarabjot Singh, Arjun Cheema, and Shiva Narwal fired to yet another gold for the country.

Roshibina battled her way to a Wushu Silver. And that is what Indian athletes achieved at the start of the day. Jasmine barges into the boxing ring, and India is expecting a squash medal.

# Wushu – 60kg FINAL (Women’s):
Despite her best efforts, Roshibina Devi Naorem got beaten by China’s Xiaowei Wu, who defeated her 2-0 to claim first place. Roshibina, however, gave herself and India a Silver medal and will feel pleased to note that she improved from her previous performance at the Asian Games in 2018, where she won a Bronze medal for her country.

# 10m Air Pistol-Team (Men’s)
Shooters fire. The group consisting of Sarabjot Singh, Arjun Cheema, and Shiva Narwal won a team gold in the 10m Air Pistol competition, and the Indian delegation is shooting its way to victory. To win the team gold, the trio narrowly defeated China’s group with 1734-50x to 1733-62x.

# Equestrian – Intermediate I Freestyle:
Anush Agarwalla of India won the bronze medal in equestrian, making history as the Medals keep coming in. Anush put on a show while riding Etro, earning them 73.030 points to win the bronze. Anush now holds the distinction of being the first Indian to receive an individual dressage events medal.

# Squash- (Women’s)
The women’s squash team crushed Malaysia 3-0 to advance to the semifinals and guarantee a medal.

With these respective victories, India has won 25 medals at the Asian Games, including 6 Golds, 8 Silvers, and 11 Bronzes. India at Asian Games is currently ranked seventh in the overall medal count.
