On Wednesday, Pakistan’s pace trio, led by Haris Rauf, put on a commanding performance to help his team defeat Bangladesh by seven wickets in the first Super 4 game of the Asia Cup.

Rauf (4/19) and Naseem Shah (3/34) completely dismantled Bangladesh’s batting order, ending their chances of scoring a challenging total. Mushfiqur Rahim and Shakib Al Hasan shared a century partnership, but Bangladesh’s innings ended at 193 runs in 38.4 overs, and Pakistan finished the job in 39.3. Bangladesh chose to bat after winning the toss.

Haris Rauf, Player of the Match
Rauf won the Player of the Game because of his crucial accomplishments during Bangladesh’s innings.
