Strong Road Systems Help the State Advance, Says CM Ashok Gehlot

Ashok Gehlot laid the cornerstone for 4101 projects

The state’s chief minister, Shri Ashok Gehlot, laid the cornerstone for 4101 projects across 232 urban bodies. 2642 km of roads will be built and developed with the help of these road development projects, which will cost Rs 1528 crore.

Gehlot virtually addressed the state’s residents

On Saturday, Shri Gehlot virtually addressed the state’s residents during the foundation-laying ceremony. He claimed that any state’s progress depends heavily on its road system. Roads evolved to connect tribal, desert, and other areas with more than 250 and 350 inhabitants, respectively, according to the census of 2011.

CM ordered the officers to finish the job on schedule

The Chief Minister instructed the department’s officers to finish the job on schedule and to maintain the roads. Additionally, he expressed sorrow over the sudden passing of a child who perished in Sikar after collapsing into an obstacle on the road. “There should be no compromising in the quality of the construction work,” he said.

In addition to the departmental experts and independent auditors, district administration officers and public representatives should keep an eye on the quality of the work. Residents ought to be a big part of this. According to Shri Gehlot, Rajasthan’s road system is evolving into a national model.

Fixed black spots will result in fewer accidents

According to the Chief Minister, road building and accident prevention are receiving special attention. The road construction company remains accountable for five years in addition to expert inspection.

Initiative to eliminate accidents from 3 roads

According to Shri Gehlot, an expert audit occurred to make the roads from Sikar to Bikaner, Bar to Bilada (Jodhpur), and Shahjahanpur to Ajmer accident-free. Fixing the black spots and other accident-causing factors on these three roads is part of an initiative to make them accident-free.

1.79 crore enrolled households will receive assistance

The state government established Mehangai Rahat (Inflation Relief) camps across the state to provide relief from the nation’s rising inflation rate. More than 1.79 billion families signed up for these camps and received more than 7.60 billion guarantee cards.

Rajasthan serves as a road network model

According to Shri Shanti Kumar Dhariwal, Minister of Urban Development and Housing, every year, the infrastructure improves by increasing road construction in urban areas. Work is done by considering residents’ opinions and those of public officials.

Almost everyone from the urban bodies, including ministers, MLAs, public representatives, department officers, and the general public, attended the event.
