CM Ashok Gehlot gives orphaned kids 146 crores in financial aid


Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot has released a payment of 146.74 crores to the ‘Labharthis’ beneficiaries of the Palanhar Yojana. Palanhar Yojana serves abandoned children and those raised by relatives and acquaintances. The financial support of 59.38 crores over June to 5.92 lakh recipients and 87.36 crores over July to 5.91 lakh recipients appears in the instantaneous transmission.

Gehlot praised former CM Vasundhara Raje for the program. Stating that it is a unique initiative built by the previous administration. He called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi to enact social insurance legislation. He also emphasized on the ten public welfare programs of the Congress government.

In addition, Mr. Gehlot pledged to serve the State’s citizens until his final breath, regardless of whether he was in office.

‘Labharthis’ of the Palanhar Yojana

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot released a payment of 146.74 crores to the ‘Labharthis’ (beneficiaries) of the Palanhar Yojana on July 3 as part of his ongoing effort to benefit the general public. The program serves abandoned kids and others raised by relatives, acquaintances, and family friends.

CM announces reimbursement

The immediate benefit transfer, which took place at Mr. Gehlot’s official residence here, included the assistance of 59.38 crores for June to 5.92 lakh beneficiaries and 87.36 crores for July to 5.91 lakh beneficiaries. Mr. Gehlot also communicated with the beneficiaries in various districts via video conference while recovering from toe injuries.

The Palanhar Yojana was put in place by the previous Bharatiya Janata Party administration. Mr. Gehlot claimed that his government was boosting aid amounts for various kinds of children.

“I continue the good work that others have started. We don’t halt the welfare programs after a change of administration, in contrast to the BJP. After launching the program, [former CM] Vasundhara Raje failed to raise funding for it,” he claimed.

Mr. Gehlot praised Ms. Raje for her desire to support orphans and other kids facing difficult situations, calling the Palanhar Yojana a “unique initiative” built by this administration. “It will be the responsibility of our team to guarantee that all qualified kids participate in the scheme,” he said.

The welfare programs of Congress

Mr. Gehlot called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi to enact social insurance legislation while highlighting the ten public welfare programs run by the Congress government, for which recipients remain set up at inflation relief centers across the State as of April 24. “This legislation will assist numerous underprivileged people across the nation. Similar bills on access to food, work, schooling, and knowledge took effect by the UPA administration,” he said.

In addition, Mr. Gehlot pledged to serve the State’s citizens until his final breath, regardless of whether he was in office.
