Tecno Camon 20, Camon 20 Pro 5G, Camon 20 Premier 5G With MediaTek Chipsets, AMOLED Displays Launched
The company launched three new smartphones on Saturday: Tecno Camon 20, Camon 20 Pro 5G, and Camon 20 Premier 5G. These phones feature MediaTek chipsets and AMOLED displays. The Tecno Camon 20 and Tecno Camon 20 Pro have similar specifications, including a 64-megapixel primary camera, while the Tecno Camon 20 Premier 5G has a 50-megapixel camera. All three phones come with 5,000mAh batteries. The pricing and availability details for the Camon 20 Premier 5G have not been announced yet.
Techno Camon 20, 20 Pro 5g, 20 Premium 5G Launched In India
In India, the Tecno Camon 20 is priced at Rs. 14,999 and is available for sale today in an 8GB + 256GB RAM and storage option, in Glacier Glow, Predawn Black, and Serenity Blue color options. The Tecno Camon 20 Pro 5G is priced at Rs. 19,999 for the 8GB + 128GB model and Rs. 21,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant. It will go on sale in Dark Welkin and Serenity Blue colorways in the second week of June.
The Tecno Camon 20 Premier 5G will be available for sale in India at the end of June, but details regarding pricing, availability, and color options are yet to be announced.
Both the Tecno Camon 20 and Camon 20 Pro 5G have similar specifications, including a dual-SIM (Nano) configuration and a 6.67-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display. The Pro model has a higher refresh rate of 120Hz compared to the Camon 20. Both phones run on Android 13-based HiOS 13.0 out-of-the-box.
The Tecno Camon 20 is powered by a 12nm MediaTek Helio G85 SoC with 8GB of RAM, while the Camon 20 Pro 5G is equipped with a 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 8050 chipset and also features 8GB of RAM.
In terms of cameras, the Tecno Camon 20 has a 64-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a QVGA tertiary camera. The Tecno Camon 20 Pro 5G, on the other hand, has a 64-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Both phones have a 32-megapixel front camera for selfies and video chats.
Both phones offer up to 256GB of onboard storage and come with 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, GPS, and a USB Type-C port for connectivity. The Tecno Camon 20 Pro 5G also supports 5G connectivity. They include sensors like an accelerometer, e-compass, and an ambient light sensor.
Both the Tecno Camon 20 and Camon 20 Pro 5G have 5,000mAh batteries with support for 33W wired charging, although the Tecno Camon 20 comes with an 18W charger. Both phones also feature an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication. The Tecno Camon 20 measures 162.71×75.89×7.82mm, while the Camon 20 Pro 5G measures 162.66×75.89×7.79mm.
