SRK Tops TIME Magazine Poll Beats Lionel Messi

TIME Magazine’s Annual Readers’ Poll

Shah Rukh Khan receives more votes than both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, as well as Lionel Messi to take the Top spot in TIME Magazine’s annual readers’ poll.

In the TIME100 survey from 2023, Shah Rukh Khan earned 4% of the 1.2 million reader votes.

Shah Rukh Khan came in first place in the TIME100 Reader Poll. Reader votes determined which individuals would appear in the annual survey of the most influential figures published by the famed magazine TIME.

The actors came in ahead of people like Serena Williams, Mark Zuckerberg, Michelle Yeoh, an Oscar-winning actor, and Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, the president of Brazil. Following more than 1.2 million votes, Shah Rukh triumphed with 4% of the popular vote. If that isn’t caused for celebration, we’re not sure what is.

*Shah Rukh Khan, an actor, has won the 2023 TIME100 poll, which was determined by readers who cast votes for the people or organizations they believed should be included on the publication’s annual list of the most influential people.

*Iranian women demanding their rights come in second place. They received 3% of the vote.
The magazine’s reader poll for 2022 Person of the Year also saw success for female candidates.
*The healthcare professionals who have been fighting the pandemic on the front lines since 2020 came in third with 2% of the votes.

*Prince Harry and Meghan Markle came in at number four with a combined 1.9% of the vote. Harry gained international attention earlier this year when he published his memoir Spare and discussed his experiences growing up as a member of the British royal family. The Archetypes podcast is hosted by Meghan.

*1.8% of the votes, football player Lionel Messi was able to claim the fifth spot.

SRK’s success
In a career spanning several decades, Shah Rukh Khan has appeared in more than 100 movies. SRK, who had been out of the film industry for nearly four years, made a triumphant return in 2023. This year, he appeared in the blockbuster Pathaan alongside Deepika Padukone and John Abraham.

In recent years, SRK has worked as a film producer and appeared in a few films as a cameo. Darlings, a 2022 film co-produced by him and the film’s lead actress Alia Bhatt, was his most recent production venture. He is a producer as well as an actor, and he is a co-owner of the IPL cricket team Kolkata Knight Riders.

The actor’s upcoming film with Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara is Atlee’s Jawan. Additionally, Shah Rukh Khan will appear in Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki, which is also expected to hit theatres this year and also stars Taapsee Pannu.

The 2023 edition of TIME’s annual list of the world’s most influential people will be unveiled later this month.

There were only three Indians on the list in 2022: Gautam Adani, Karuna Nundy, and Khurram Parvez.
