Around six in the morning on May 25, Jain collapsed inside a toilet in Tihar prison. He was then sent to West Delhi’s Deendayal Upadhyay Hospital, which is run by the Delhi government. After that, he was moved to the larger Lok Nayak Hospital in the heart of Delhi, where he was admitted to the intensive care unit.
