He also stated that the INDIA bloc will fight to preserve the concept of India in the upcoming general elections. Gandhi predicted that the Congress would win Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Rajasthan. He stated that they will announce the welfare programs soon for these states and that initiatives are underway to stop the BJP’s attempts to occupy voters. He also said that the opposition is adapting to a situation where the BJP regulates the media and that the BJP will be surprised in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

Rahul Gandhi, a senior member of the Congress, expressed confidence in his party’s ability to win the elections before the crucial Assembly elections for four States, two of which function by the Congress. He also stated that the INDIA bloc would fight to preserve the concept of India in the upcoming general elections.

At a gathering hosted by the Pratidin Media Network on Sunday, he was speaking in this location. In addition, Mr Rahul Gandhi predicted that the BJP would experience a shock during the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

The preparedness of the Congress for the Assembly elections

In response to a question regarding the readiness for the Assembly elections, Mr Rahul Gandhi predicted that the Congress would take home the four States. “Right now, we’re probably winning Telangana, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. Rajasthan, we’re very close and believe we can prevail. That is how it appears, and that is also what the BJP is saying internally,” he added.

Mr. Gandhi stated that similar welfare programs to those in Karnataka will get announced for these States. He claimed initiatives were underway to stop the BJP’s attempts to occupy voters before every election.

According to Rahul Gandhi, there was complete agreement among the “INDIA” participants that their struggle was for “saving the concept of India” rather than against a particular political party. The Congress leader declared, “The Opposition is feeling concerning this election in a completely distinct manner than it thought about any other election before.”

He continued by saying that according to the opposition, the BJP was an imminent danger to the concepts of free elections, free speech, and the idea of India, all of which were under attack. Regarding disagreements between the partners, he claimed that they were rare and that in those instances where they did exist, they got resolved.

Indian media is under control

“We’re adjusting to a situation where the BJP regulates the media. Despite making up 60% of India’s population, the opposition is adapting and working together, so don’t think we can’t. In the Lok Sabha elections 2024, the BJP will get surprised,” Rahul Gandhi said.
