Nithari Killings – Both Prime Accusers Acquitted

Surinder Koli, the main suspect in the Nithari serial killings in Noida, has been exonerated of all charges after 17 years. Due to a lack of evidence, the Allahabad High Court found him not guilty in 12 cases. The co-defendant and his boss, Moninder Singh Pandher, also got discharged in two instances. The serial killings occurred at Moninder Pandher’s residence in the Nithari neighborhood of Noida, Uttar Pradesh, between 2005 and 2006.

The police claimed Koli and Pandher would rape and kill children, dismembering their bodies and flushing them down drains to obliterate any remaining evidence. After a missing child’s body parts ended up in a drain near Pandher’s house, a thorough investigation revealed the identities of additional victims. The CBI brought 19 lawsuits against Pandher and Koli in 2007. The police accused Koli and Pandher of killing, dismemberment, and cannibalism.
