Project K got a new title
Pay attention to the Project K movie’s teaser that premiered on Friday morning. The San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) saw the debut of the movie’s teaser. Did we also mention that the movie’s new title is Kalki 2898 – AD? We catch an overview of a futuristic, nightmarish world in the teaser.
“When the planet becomes ruined by darkness, a strength will rise”
Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas, and Deepika Padukone are examples of the force that can transform the world. On-screen text that reads, “When the world becomes engulfed by darkness, a power will rise, flashes, implying that Prabhas and his team are here to transform the world—and for the better. They are the ones who are the beginning of Project K, which is the end of the darkness.” We eagerly anticipate the day when these fictional heroes slay the night. Prabhas shared a teaser
Prabhas announced on social media that “Project K is now Kalki 2898 AD and shared the teaser and updated title of the movie. Here is a brief window into our world.”

On the official Instagram account of Vyjayanthi Movies, the filmmakers shared a few clips from the movie’s Comic-Con teaser release. Kalki 2898 AD’s international marketing and distribution partners are Spirit Media, a business owned by Rana Daggubati.
At Comic-Con, Deepika Padukone won’t be present
Due to the Hollywood strike, Deepika Padukone will not perform her Kalki 2898 – advertising role at Comic-Con. The Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Radio and Television Artists (SAG-AFTRA), which Deepika Padukone belongs to, is pushing for better pay and more protection from artificial intelligence in the entertainment industry from movie and television studios.
Stars of Kalki 2898 – AD
Nag Ashwin, best known for helming the 2018 biographical drama Mahanati, which won a National Award, is directing Kalki 2898 – AD. The movie is Deepika Padukone and Prabhas’ first joint venture; the actress and Amitabh Bachchan previously teamed up for the 2015 movie Piku. In the Indian adaptation of the Hollywood movie The Intern, which starred Anne Hathaway and Robert De Niro, they will also appear together.
Aswini Dutt, a producer and the creator of Vyjayanthi Movies is supporting the movie, which gets directed by Nag Ashwin. Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi versions of Kalki 2898 – AD will be available.
