The US State Department has enhanced travel advice for Israel and the West Bank to Level 3, meaning “reconsider the trip.” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has declared a “state of war” and vowed to destroy Gaza. The initial flight under Operation Ajay, which arrived in New Delhi today, has displaced Indian nationals stuck in Israel due to the ongoing conflict. The Israel-Hamas War has reached its sixth day, with Israel’s retaliation to Hamas’ surprise attack killing 1,300 Israelis and over 1,500 people in Gaza.
