IPL Set To Start From Tomorrow, Vaughan Makes Bold Predictions

Michael Vaughan makes a surprising IPL 2023 prediction that will cause the internet to combust: “They will be lifting the trophy.”

Predictions about the favorites to win the IPL and the players who would perform well are common as the competition is about to begin in a few hours. The Rajasthan Royals will return this year, according to former England captain Michael Vaughan, who is just one of many forecasters.

The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, which is scheduled to begin on March 31, has been set up (Friday). In the opening game of the IPL 2023 on Friday, the four-time champion Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will take on the defending champion Gujarat Titans (GT).

In the meantime, former England captain Michael Vaughan has made a significant prediction on the IPL 2023’s winners just ahead of the sixteenth season in the glamorous league.

With the 2023 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) right around the corner, former England captain Michael Vaughan has made a bold prediction about the season’s winner. Vaughan, who isn’t afraid to express himself on Twitter, expressed excitement for the new season of the cash-rich league.

Former England captain Vaughan predicted the winner of the upcoming season of the profit league on Twitter ahead of the IPL 2023 opener between CSK and GT on Wednesday. Vaughan believes Sanju Samson’s Rajasthan Royals (RR) will win the prestigious trophy this season. The Rajasthan Royals last won the IPL in 2008, during the league’s inaugural season.

“I believe this will be the year of the @rajasthanroyals. They’ll take home the trophy in late May. #IPL2023, #OnOn “Vaughan used Twitter.

Last season, the former champion Rajasthan Royals reached the IPL final under Samson’s leadership. Samson’s RR came in second place in the IPL 2022 points table. Rajasthan Royals earned 18 points from 14 matches last season, with 9 wins and 5 losses.

Gujarat Titans (GT) defeated the Royals in Qualifier 1 of the IPL 2022 at Eden Gardens. The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) were then defeated by RR by 7 wickets in Qualifier 2 to advance to the IPL 2022 final. Samson and company were defeated by Hardik Pandya’s Gujarat Titans in the IPL 2022 championship game at Narendra Modi Stadium, so RR was unable to end their trophy drought.

Meanwhile, Vaughan’s prediction divided Twitterati, as fans began to pick their favorites for the IPL 2023 title, while others disagreed with the English legend.

At the auction for the 2023 season of the world’s richest T20 league, the Rajasthan Royals signed superstars Jason Holder (INR 5.75 crore), Adam Zampa (INR 1.5 crore), and Joe Root (INR 1 crore).

Former champions Rajasthan Royals will begin their IPL 2023 contest against 2016 champions Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Sunday at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.
