Man Makes Death Threats to PM Modi, Amit Shah, and Nitish Kumar; Investigation Underway

A man threatened to kill Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, and Union Home Minister Amit Shah in two PCR calls to the Delhi Police. The suspect is Sudheer Sharma, according to the Delhi Police. They are currently looking for a suspect who is reportedly a drinker. Police have yet to find the suspect.

Delhi Police received two PCR calls

On Wednesday, two PCR calls were made to the Delhi Police by a man threatening to assassinate Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

The Delhi Police identifies the suspect

According to the police, the suspect, Sudheer Sharma, called the PCR on Tuesday night and warned to assassinate the prime minister.

Police are currently searching for a person who is allegedly an alcoholic.

Delhi Police Officer statement

“Sudheer Sharma, a resident of Madipur, has been identified as the man who threatened to murder the Prime Minister, the Union Home Minister, and the Chief Minister of Bihar. The police were looking for him,” an officer said.

“We made contact with his family. He’s been drinking ever since last night because he’s an alcoholic. He is not at home at the moment. He’ll be apprehended soon,” the officer continued.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Outer) Harendra Singh’s statement regarding the two PCR calls case

“An unknown man calling from an unknown number targeting VVIPs made two PCR calls to us at 10.46 and 10.54 am. In his initial phone call, he demanded Rs. 10 crores and warned to murder Nitish Kumar, the chief minister of Bihar. When he called back, he demanded Rs 2 crore and warned to kill Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah,” according to Deputy Commissioner of Police (Outer) Harendra Singh.

The investigation is on to find all the suspects

The Delhi Police then reacted, and SHO Paschim Vihar (East) and his four subordinates moved to the scene right away, but they failed to locate the suspect, Sudheer. The Delhi Police are looking for the person, according to the most recent update.

In May, police apprehended a Delhi man who threats to kill Prime Minister Narendra Modi. After tracing the call, police identified the suspect in Delhi’s Prasad Nagar neighborhood of Karol Bagh. The police classified the suspect as Hemant, a resident of Raigar Pura in Delhi, who allegedly made the call while intoxicated.
