Day 4- Box Office: Dream Girl-2 is approaching the 50-crore club


Dream Girl 2 is going towards reaching the 50 crore club domestically, with the film grossing over four crore on its first Monday. The film, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday, made 14.02 crore on its second day and 16 crore on Sunday. Early estimates show it made 4.70 crore net on its fourth day, grossing 45.41 crore.

Ayushmann also released an acoustic version of the song Mai Marjawangi, showcasing his talent. Ayushmann recalled his late father, P Khurana, who inspired him to become a talented actor after the movie made over 40 crores. He wished his father had seen Dream Girl 2 as well, as he believed it would have been a huge hit.

Raaj Shaandilyaa’s Dream Girl 2 is steadily edging closer to joining the 50 crore club domestically. According to Sacnilk.com, the movie made more than four crores on its opening Monday. The film with Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday came out on Friday of last week.

Box Office Collection: Dream Girl 2

The movie made 14.02 crore on its second day after debuting in India with a box office take of 10.69 crore, according to Sacnilk.com. On Sunday, the film brought in 16 crore. According to the report, early estimates show that Dream Girl 2 made 4.70 crore net in India on its fourth day. The movie grossed 45.41 crore so far.

Ayushmann released a new rendition of the song Mai Marjawangi

In addition to Ayushmann and Ananya Panday, Rajpal Yadav, Paresh Rawal, Vijay Raaz, Annu Kapoor, Manjot Singh, Asrani, and Seema Pahwa also appear in Dream Girl 2. On Monday night, Ayushmann delighted his audience by releasing an acoustic version of the Dream Girl 2 song Mai Marjawangi.

Ayushmann discusses the movie and his late father

Ayushmann recalled his late father, P Khurana, saying how he inspired him to become a talented actor after the movie made over 40 crores.
The news agency reported, “I’d prefer my dad was here to witness this. He loved Dream Girl as a movie. He was happy with the way I tried something different. He was in splits while viewing the movie, as I recall. He knew that the movie would be a huge hit. He should have seen Dream Girl 2 as well, in my opinion.”
