Notable interface changes are also expected, including the reintroduction of widgets, according to a report by 9to5Mac. These enhancements will allow users to conveniently access various information, such as activity tracking and weather, through simple scrolling without the need to open individual apps.

Recently, Apple rolled out watchOS 9.5.1, providing bug fixes and overall improvements to the Apple Watch. This update, sized at 91.8MB, does not include any security updates. Users can install it through the Settings app on their Apple Watch or via the Watch app on their iPhone. Last month, Apple introduced watchOS 9.5, which featured a new Pride watch face exclusively for 2023.

During the WWDC 2023 keynote address, Apple will unveil watchOS 10, which is expected to bring substantial enhancements, particularly focusing on widgets. The initial beta versions of watchOS 10 will be available for testing starting from Monday. The final release of watchOS 10 is scheduled for September.

No significant hardware changes are anticipated for the Apple Watch in 2023. Instead, the focus will be on the watchOS update, which will bring the most notable advancements to the device. Therefore, the key aspect to watch out for this year will be the enhanced operating system of the Apple Watch.
