The Salman Khan-starrer film “Tiger 3” is gaining momentum and displaying promising signs in terms of advance booking collections on its first day.
Arguably one of the biggest releases of the year for Indian cinema is just days away to hit the movie theaters on Diwali 2023. Salman Khan will be seen in his loved spy avatar of Tiger with the stunning Katrina Kaif as Zoya. Emraan Hasmi is entering the spy universe as the main antagonist this time who can be seen challenging Tiger making him choose between his family and his country.
The opportunity to witness Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Hrithik Roshan sharing the screen is one that no one would want to miss. Yash Raj Films (YRF) has proven to be a marketing genius, evident from the tremendous buzz surrounding “Tiger 3.” This excitement is reflected in the advance booking trends for the first day, and here are all the details you need to know!
Directed by Maneesh Sharma, “Tiger 3” also features Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi in prominent roles. This action-thriller marks the fifth installment in YRF’s spy universe, following “Ek Tha Tiger,” “Tiger Zinda Hai,” “War,” and “Pathaan.”
“Tiger 3” is set to hit the big screens on Diwali, premiering on Sunday, November 12, instead of the usual Friday release. According to the latest box office updates, it has amassed a total of 6.95 crores gross (excluding blocked seats) in advance booking collections for the first day. The film, starring Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, and Emraan Hashmi, has sold over 2.28 lakh tickets nationwide. With five days remaining until its release, “Tiger 3” appears poised for a remarkable start and is expected to create a frenzy at the ticket counters.

Previously, it was Shah Rukh Khan-led “Pathaan” from the YRF Spy universe that achieved remarkable success with advance booking collections totaling 32.43 crores gross. “Tiger 3” aims to surpass this figure, a challenging task, but the immense popularity of superstar Salman Khan is expected to make an impact in the days to come.
This third installment of the Tiger franchise will introduce Hrithik Roshan’s connection to the spy universe. While audiences have seen him as Kabir in “War,” this will be the first time he shares the screen with characters from the Tiger and Pathaan series.
Apart from the star-studded cast, “Tiger 3” also features Revathi, Vishal Jethwa, Kumud Mishra, Ranvir Shorey, and others in pivotal roles.
Furthermore, there are online reports suggesting that if “Tiger 3” follows a similar trajectory and becomes a blockbuster at the box office, Salman Khan could potentially earn a massive sum exceeding 200 crores, mirroring Shah Rukh Khan’s success with “Pathaan.” However, it’s worth noting that the initial footfall might be affected due to Diwali festivities nationwide.
