SS Rajamouli Next Movie – “Biopic of the Indian film industry”


SS Rajamouli, a renowned Indian filmmaker, is set to make his latest film, “Made in India,” which tells the story of the “inception and rise” of Indian cinema. The film, directed by Nitin Kakkar, will be produced by Varun Gupta and Rajamouli’s son SS Karthikeya. The central premise of the biopic is the observation that “Indian cinema has seen many biopics. Here is SS Rajamouli’s “Made in India.” The life of Dadasaheb Phalke is the basis for the film.

Dadasaheb Phalke, known as the “Father of Indian Cinema,” is known for his work on Raja Harishchandra, the first-ever complete Indian feature film. RRR, Rajamouli’s most recent hit, received numerous awards at the 95th Academy Awards, including the Best Original Song Oscar for “Naatu Naatu.”

Filmmaker SS Rajamouli is preparing to release another outstanding picture after captivating spectators with films like Baahbuali 1 & 2 and RRR. The director released the teaser for his forthcoming “Made in India” film on Tuesday. The movie, which tells the tale of the “inception and rise” of Indian cinema, features a direction by Nitin Kakkar, with production handled by Varun Gupta and Rajamouli’s son SS Karthikeya.

SS Rajamouli expressed his “emotional” reaction to the movie’s story while releasing the first teaser. He wrote on X, “The story grasped me like nothing else when I first came across it. Making a biopic is difficult in and of itself, but coming up with one that centers on the “FATHER OF INDIAN CINEMA” is quite hard. Our boys appear ready and enthusiastic. We are proud to present MADE IN INDIA.”

“Father of Indian Cinema”

Dadasaheb Phalke is known as the “Father of Indian Cinema” to those unfamiliar with the term. Raja Harishchandra, the first-ever complete Indian feature film, made by Phalke in 1913. Over his nearly 20-year career as a filmmaker, he appears to have produced over 90 full-length films, with an estimated 27 short films.

The cast is still up for selection. Filmistaan (2012), Jawaani Jaaneman (2020), Mitron (2018), Notebook (2019), and Ram Singh Charlie (2020) are just a few of the films Nitin Kakkar directed in the past. It is SS Karthikeya’s first production endeavor; he appeared as a line producer on his father’s most recent hit, RRR.

RRR’s success has only recently passed for SS Rajamouli. At the recent 95th Academy Awards, the movie took home many awards. “Naatu Naatu” obtained the Best Original Song Oscar. MM Keeravaani, the song’s composer, and Chandrabose, the song’s lyricist, accepted the trophy.
