Nitesh Tiwari is sure no one will get offended by his film, Ramayana

Nitesh Tiwari spoke candidly about making his Ramayana movie amid the controversy surrounding Adipurush. Saying he consumes the content he produces and has confidence that he won’t offend anyone else. He did not confirm or refute the rumors about Ranbir and Alia’s involvement.

Regarding the production of his Ramayana film, Nitesh Tiwari was open. He said, “My query is simple. As a creator and a consumer, I am sure I won’t offend anyone else if I don’t offend myself first.”

As previously reported, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will play Lord Rama and Sita in Nitesh Tiwari’s follow-up to Bawaal. After controversy ignited over Om Raut’s Ramayana adaptation in Adipurush, Nitesh has spoken out about the casting and expressed confidence that his movie won’t offend the audience.

The June 16 release of Adipurush drew condemnation for its dialogue and calls for a boycott. Along with the outfits, the movie’s VFX also attracted criticism from viewers. The three significant personalities in Adipurush were Raghav (based on Rama), Lankesh (Raavan), Janaki (Sita), played by Saif Ali Khan, Kriti Sanon, and Prabhas. Later, the creators also revised the dialogues.

In a recent interview with Zoom Entertainment, Nitesh Tiwari spoke candidly about making his Ramayana movie amid the controversy surrounding Adipurush. He said, “My query is simple. I consume the content I produce, so if I don’t offend myself, I have confidence that I won’t offend anyone else.”

Nitesh responds with “Very soon” over the casting

Director of Bawaal Nitesh only added, “Very soon,” in response to questions regarding rumors that Ranbir and Alia are in talks to star in the film. He did not confirm or deny the reports. Om Raut previously expressed backing for Nitesh’s film about the Ramayana and stated that Nitesh is a talented director and that the more movies made about the Ramayana, the better.

In the meantime, Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor are starring in Nitesh Tiwari’s upcoming movie Bawaal, which is getting ready for release. The film will be available on Prime Video on the 21st of this month received negative feedback and perplexed many viewers by equating a love story with World War 2.

In the trailer, Varun and Janhvi’s characters travel to Europe and take in the sights of cities like Paris and others to be at the epicenter of World War II. The historical occurrence reappears throughout the trailer as characters discuss a “world war within.”
