Tuesday morning, Prime Video announced that the American action thriller Kandahar is getting its exclusive digital debut on the 16th of this June. Ali Fazal, Gerard Butler, Nina Toussaint-White, Corey Johnson, Navid Negahban, Abdullah Alnaji, Mark Arnold, Bahador Foladi, and Vassilis Koukalani are all featured in pivot roles in the Ric Roman Waugh-directed movie.

Kandahar, created by Thunder Road Pictures, G-BASE, Capstone Studios, and MBC Studios, will be dubbed in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu in addition to English.

When an intelligence leak reveals his identity and mission, he and his Afghan translator Mo must negotiate dangerous terrain to reach a point of extraction in Kandahar.

The character of Kahil, played by Ali Fazal, engages in a risky game of cat and mouse with Tom Harris in the film. The real-life experiences of a former military intelligence officer served as the basis for the movie.
