Shah Rukh Khan visited the Sri Venkateshwara Swamy Temple in Tirupati before release of Jawan on September 7. He accompanied his daughter Suhana Khan and crew member Nayanthara, with director Vignesh Shivan. Shah Rukh dressed in a cream mundu, short kurta, and matching stole with a golden border, offering prayers at the temple. He shared flying kisses with the worshippers and folded his hands in thanks. Khan also visited the Vaishno Devi temple in Jammu and Kashmir.
Jawan, directed by Atlee and produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, will release on Thursday. The film stars Nayanthara, Priyamani, Ridhi Dogra, Sanya Malhotra, Sunil Grover, Vijay Sethupathi, and Yogi Babu. The Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi versions will be available in theatres. Jawan will likely surpass Pathaan as Shah Rukh’s second 100-crore opening of the year.

SRK visited the Sri Venkateshwara Swamy Temple
Before Jawan’s September 7 release, Shah Rukh Khan visited several temples to ask for blessings. Shah Rukh visited the Sri Venkateshwara Swamy Temple in Tirupati on Tuesday, just a few days before Jawan’s release.
Suhana Khan, his daughter, and Nayanthara, a cast member from Jawan, joined him. Also spotted with them was Nayanthara’s husband, the director Vignesh Shivan.

Following their appearance on social media on Tuesday morning, images and videos of Shah Rukh from Tirupati are gaining widespread popularity. Shah Rukh dressed in a cream mundu, short kurta, and matching stole with a golden border as he offered prayers at the temple.
Outside the temple, he shared flying kisses with the worshippers and folded his hands in thanks. Suhana Khan, wearing a white salwar-kameez, held her father’s hand. For the temple visit, Nayanthara and Vignesh were also wearing white clothing.
SRK went to the Vaishno Devi temple last month
Before the release of Jawan’s audio in Chennai last month, Shah Rukh Khan appeared entering the Vaishno Devi temple in Jammu and Kashmir under heavy security. Before the release of Pathaan this year in January, he offered prayers at the Vaishno Devi temple.
Thursday will see the release of Jawan
Shah Rukh Khan will appear in the action film Jawan about eight months after his popular movie Paathan. Before the release of Pathaan, Shah Rukh avoided speaking to the media, but he has been actively promoting Jawan ever since.
The actor traveled to Dubai on August 31 to watch the Jawan trailer at the Burj Khalifa after attending a lavish audio launch and pre-release event for the movie in Chennai the previous Wednesday.

The movie is available in 2D and IMAX formats, with the costliest ticket in Delhi going for a whopping 2400 at Ambience Mall.
