And now, Musk addressed his comments and explained the rationale for his decision to hold the date. The Tesla CEO claims that to compete against Zuck, he might need surgery first.

When a Twitter (Now X) user revealed a tweet from Threads in which Mark claimed the fight’s date as August 26, Musk reacted that he must first get his MRI because he could require surgery. “The precise date is still pending. Tomorrow, I’ll have an MRI of my neck and upper back. Before a battle can occur, surgery might be necessary. Will learn this week,” tweeted Musk.
