Animal Box Office Collection: Film Enters 700 Crore Club On Day 10


Film Animal is all the rage on the internet since the day of its release, there are no mellow or moderate reactions the film, audiences and reviewers are either dead against the theme of the film calling it toxic, problematic, and misogynist or are going gaga over the rough raw massy action and blood bath shown in the film. The film however is riding high on the wave of these contrasting and sharp reactions earning milestone after milestone on the box office.

On the 10th day of its release, the film “Animal,” directed by Ranbir Kapoor and Sandeep Reddy Vanga, experienced an impressive second Sunday, raking in Rs 37 crore domestically. This brought the total domestic earnings to Rs 432.37 crore, and globally, the film has surpassed the Rs 700 crore milestone.

Ranbir Kapoor has now crossed the Rs 700 crore mark globally, marking a significant achievement. “Animal,” the latest action thriller drama featuring the actor, is rewriting box office records, and its domestic collections are approaching the coveted Rs 500 crore club, a feat achieved so far only by Shah Rukh Khan and Sunny Deol in Bollywood.

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, “Animal” achieved a net collection of Rs 37 crore in all languages on its second Sunday, bringing the ten-day total to Rs 432.37 crore. The film’s worldwide gross is estimated to be over Rs 700 crore, with a shade over Rs 660 crore until Saturday.

Comparatively, “Animal” outperformed both of Shah Rukh Khan’s blockbusters, “Pathaan” and “Jawan,” on its second Sunday. While “Pathaan” earned Rs 28.5 crore, and “Jawan” netted Rs 36.85 crore, “Animal” has already surpassed “Pathaan” in total collections after the second weekend.

After the second Sunday, “Pathaan” stood at Rs 429.9 crore (its 12th day), a milestone that “Animal” has already exceeded. However, “Jawan” had a higher total at Rs 477 crore after its second weekend (the film’s 11th day).

Despite facing criticism for its misogyny and excessive violence, “Animal” continues to trend excellently at the box office. The film is now aiming to break the record of “Gadar 2,” which earned Rs 525 crore. With a free 10-day run before the release of Shah Rukh Khan’s third film of the year, “Dunki,” and Prabhas’ actioner “Salaar” hitting cinemas on December 22, “Animal” aims to maximize its earnings before facing competition from big Christmas releases.

Before a significant reduction in screens due to the Christmas releases, “Animal” hopes to achieve substantial earnings and eventually target the records set by “Pathaan” (Rs 543 crore all India) and “Jawan” (Rs 640 crore all India).
